At Walesby Forest, we recognise the importance of being a responsible neighbour and understand that events held on our site can have an impact on the local community. We are committed to working closely with residents to ensure that the impact of our events is kept to a minimum and that we remain considerate of those who live nearby.
Our commitments to local residents:
- Litter: When Walesby Forest is hired for showground events, we will monitor litter on Brake Road and take appropriate action to ensure that any litter associated with the event is collected and removed promptly.
- Noise: We will work proactively with local residents to manage noise disturbances arising from events. We will listen to concerns and take appropriate steps to minimise disruption, particularly where noise may affect residents, their families, or animals they own or care for.
- Working with our community: We will continue to engage with local residents and provide support where concerns arise. We welcome constructive feedback and will work collaboratively to find practical solutions to minimise the impact of our events on everyday life in the local community.
- Reviewing our events: Following each event, we will review its impact and consider any feedback received from local residents. Where improvements can be made, we will use this feedback to inform future events and strengthen our approach.
Our aim is to ensure that Walesby Forest can continue to host a range of events while being a considerate and responsible neighbour. We are committed to listening, responding and continually improving the way we work with our local community.
