We’re open to the public again so be sure to come and join us for unlimited fun-filled activities and our annual easter egg quest all weekend!
You’ll have the opportunity to test your skills and face your fears with a range of activities which include climbing, leap of faith, archery and much more! With over 40 activities available, we guarantee you’ll find something to challenge yourself and our skilled staff and instructors will do their utmost to make sure you remember your visit to Walesby Forest for years to come.
Easter weekend is set to be another busy event for us and no pre-booking is required. Just show up, pay and play.

Is it cash only?
Cash will be the primary way to pay at the entrance, BBQ and in the catering barn
PDQ payment is possible in the bar and shop
I’m bringing my child, I don’t want to go on the activities, is there a charge for me?
No, it is free for an adult accompanying children but not taking part in Easter egg hunt or Activities
I’m not going on activities and not accompanying a child can I come and have a walk around?
Yes, that is fine
Is there a minimum age for unaccompanied children?

Do I just go from one activity to another?
Yes, the activities will run throughout the day and you can choose when to do any of them
How long can I stay on an activity, do I get more than one go?
You can repeat the same activity as many times as you like, but you will have to re-join the queue after every turn
Will I need to accompany my children on the activities?
No, all of the activities are being led by qualified activity leaders who will ensure the safety of the participants.
Please note that it is not the instructor’s responsibility to monitor the children whilst they are waiting to take part in the activity; that remains the responsibility of the parents.
What else will there be to do?
There will be a BBQ, bar, and coffee shop open. Nottinghamshire scouts will also be on site.
Is there food available?
Yes, there will be a BBQ, cake and sandwich stall, hot and cold drinks, and sweets available from the shop and vending machines
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No
Can I bring my dog?
No, unless a registered assistance dog

What does the egg hunt involve?
Go around our centre and collect letters for you to unscramble and make the phrase to earn you your Easter Egg.
Is there anywhere to go if it rains?
Yes, there is a catering barn and bar open to the public
Is there disabled parking?
Those visitors with a disability will be allowed to park near to the camp centre and the heart of the activities
What is there to do for under 5’s?
