Walesby Forest, welcoming visitors since 1938, is an International Outdoor Adventure Activity Centre set in over 250 acres of forest, with over 30 adventure activities and a range of accommodation for a multitude of visitor groups.
We are a not for profit organisation offering bespoke and inclusive experiences aimed at educating our visitors in a fun and safe environment within the heart of the incredible Sherwood Forest in Robin Hood country.

As an established outdoor activity centre we provide fun and inclusive experiences for all ages which represent excellent value for money. Whether a Scout or Guide group, family or birthday party, school trip or you’re looking for a corporate away-day, we have something for groups of all ages, abilities and experience.
Walesby forest not only offers camping, including a challenging bushcraft camp, but there are also options available including lodges and tented facilities suitable for a range of groups and requirements.
Each of our camping areas is close to a water supply and our toilet and washing facilities (including free hot showers) are not far from any of the campsites. Where possible we try to allocate particular sites if these have been requested in advance.
Find out moreKemp and Walesby lodges are set in their own grounds looking down over the parkland. These high specification buildings include disabled facilities, are recently built, and are suitable for all groups. Parker and Sherwood lodges are located near the camp centre in the heart of Walesby Forest. Both lodges offer very versatile accommodation suitable for all groups. All lodges have separate facilities for group leaders.
